Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS)

invites applications for a 

Three-Day National Workshop on

Data Science and Information Technologies 

for Social Scientists

Date and Venue:

August 09–11, 2023 

Adiseshiah Auditorium, MIDS.

Registration: 

1. Interested candidates may submit their applications using the link to Google Form 

with required details on or before June 30, 2023. 

2. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email about their participation by 

July 5, 2023. 

3. There is no registration fee.

Requirements:

1. Candidates are required to submit a bonafide or permission letter from the present 

institute they are associated with.

2. Candidates are required to submit their resume for consideration. 

3. Certificates will be provided at the conclusion of the workshop subject to the 

candidate’s full participation and fair conduct.

Logistics:

Shortlisted candidates from outstations (i.e. other than Chennai) will be given 

accommodation, food and travel allowance (2nd sleeper class train / bus travel on 

production of tickets covering the shortest route).
